Land buying guide

What should you check before buying land in the Piedmont Triad?

A beautiful parcel is only the beginning. Access, utilities, soils, restrictions, zoning and the intended use all need careful investigation before a buyer commits.

Can the land support the intended use?

Confirm zoning, deed restrictions, setbacks, road access and any permitting requirements with the appropriate authorities and qualified professionals. A listing description should never replace independent verification.

What utility questions matter?

Determine the availability and cost of water, sewer, well, septic, power, internet and driveway access. When septic is required, soil evaluation and permitting can be central to feasibility.

How does Alex help?

Alex helps buyers identify questions, obtain available property information, coordinate appropriate professionals and structure an offer around the investigation the parcel requires.
